Templates are reusable projects, perfect for repetitive tasks.

Templates are available in Basic and above plans.

Some use cases

  • Several people must sign the same document individually
  • The same document must be signed every month

Creating a template

Creating a template is simple. From your dashboard, first click on "Templates" on the left column, then "New template":

From that point, the procedure is almost identical to creating a project, the difference being the recipient part where you do not specify their name and email, but rather an identifier.

Using a template

After creating a template, you can use it either from the template list or from their summary:

In both case, click on "Use template". You will land on the "Create a new project from template" page. In that page, you can specify your recipients' name and email. When all your recipients are specified, click on "Create project" to complete the procedure.

Other features

So far, we have covered the main usage of a template. But you can also:

  • Create a template from a project (accessible from the project list and project summary)
